Lottery operator Allwyn has secured a global partnership with the McLaren F1 Team, further strengthening its presence in motorsport following its recent deal with Formula 1. As an official partner of McLaren Racing, Allwyn’s branding will be prominently displayed on McLaren’s race cars and driver overalls throughout the upcoming Formula 1 season. This move aligns with Allwyn’s broader strategy to expand internationally, leveraging high-profile sports collaborations to enhance brand visibility and promote responsible gaming.
The partnership follows McLaren’s 2024 Constructors’ Championship victory, providing Allwyn with a massive global platform to engage F1’s 750-million-strong fanbase. The collaboration will focus not just on visibility but also on fan engagement, offering behind-the-scenes content and interactive experiences.
Allwyn Board Chair and Founder Karel Komárek highlighted the significance of the deal, stating: “This exciting partnership—alongside our collaboration with Formula 1—is a major step forward in Allwyn’s global expansion. Our shared drive for innovation and technology will continue to fuel our growth.”
Allwyn CEO Robert Chvátal echoed this sentiment, emphasizing McLaren’s commitment to safety and responsibility—values that align with Allwyn’s approach to ethical gaming.
“McLaren is one of the most successful teams in Formula 1, with incredible drivers and international appeal. We take pride in creating safe and responsible ways for people to play, and we’re excited to work with McLaren to create a world full of winning moments.”
McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown welcomed Allwyn, acknowledging the brand’s global ambition: “We’re delighted to welcome Allwyn to the McLaren Racing family. Following a fantastic 2024 season, it’s great to have an international brand like Allwyn join us at a time when both the team and the sport are growing rapidly. We’re excited to go racing together.”
With Formula 1 celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2025, the sport’s global reach continues to expand, making this partnership a strategic move for both Allwyn and McLaren. Fans can look forward to exclusive content, immersive fan experiences, and greater engagement opportunities throughout the season.
